A great example of this is our use of the iTero Element Scanner. With the iTero, we are able to create a 3D image of your mouth without any mess- something that used to be impossible. In the past, we used a special molding material to create an impression of a patient’s bite, leaving behind a messy, goopy residue. Now with the iTero Element Scanner, we can create a realistic model of your mouth in minutes without extra hassle! Our 3D scanners are meant to improve the quality of your appointments, making the beginning stages of braces as easy as snapping a photo!

The iTero Element Scanner works by emitting a radiation-free laser, which recreates an image of your mouth as your orthodontist moves it around. The scanner itself is compact and handheld, making it a comfortable fit for any mouth. There is no large machinery involved, and your 3D scan will be ready in just a few minutes!

At the end of treatment, we do still take impressions to have a mold for your retainer that we make in office the same day. However, these are quick and easy. We look forward to seeing you in our office soon!
