Braces today have come a long way from the uncomfortable metal options of the past. At Jolley Orthodontics, we proudly offer the latest in orthodontic technology, including multiple alternatives to traditional metal appliances.

Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces offer a subtler treatment option compared to metal braces with brackets and wires. These appliances are made of a translucent material that matches your natural tooth color. The only down side is that they can be more fragile than other treatment options, which can lengthen your treatment time and increase the number if visits to our office. Invisalign treatment is attractive to many of our patients because it does not use traditional metal brackets and it is difficult to tell that you are undergoing orthodontic treatment. Invisalign is often referred to as "clear braces" and consists of a series of clear aligners that you wear over time. The aligners pop onto your teeth and are made of comfortable plastic that does not require any metal wires or brackets.
